On the occasion of the 22nd anniversary of the end of the 1998-1999 war, the Kosova Exodus99 Foundation has produced a 2-minute video illustrating through photographs by Asllan Krasniqi the expulsion of nearly 1 million Albanians from Kosova in the spring of 1999.
The 33 photos illustrate the deportation, the arrival of the deportees in Macedonia and Albania, their stay in the refugee camps in these two countries, as well as their return to their homeland after the end of the war (June 12, 1999), when the army of Serbia left Kosova.
